  1. Compatibility & Supported Models We support all Mack and Volvo OBD‑based models from 2014 and newer. All you need is a Windows laptop and a compatible adapter such as NEXIQ or VOCOM.

  2. Vehicle Information Submission Provide your truck’s VIN, engine serial number, and current ECM software version for verification.

  3. Custom ECM Calibration Our technicians prepare a vehicle‑specific ECM tune file tailored to your exact engine and emissions configuration.

  4. ECM Programming Using a compatible programming interface (NEXIQ, Inline 6/7, VOCOM), the ECM is flashed with the updated calibration.

  5. Hardware Removal (Recommended) After tuning, physical removal or capping of the DPF, DEF tank, and SCR system is recommended to prevent future faults and ensure proper operation.

  6. Post‑Installation Verification A full diagnostic scan is performed to confirm a successful delete, clear all fault codes, and verify proper engine functionality.

Akzo Diesel warrants this software calibration product against defects in the tune file for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery. If the calibration file fails to perform as described due to a file error or calibration defect, Akzo Diesel will provide a corrected file at no charge. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, hardware incompatibility, engine mechanical failure, or use outside the specified application. No refunds will be issued once the tune file has been delivered and opened.
