1. Purchase the remote programming service and receive a confirmation email. 2. Schedule a remote session with an Akzo Diesel technician via the provided booking link. 3. Ensure your laptop or diagnostic interface (e.g., CAT ET, NEXIQ, or equivalent) is ready and connected to the truck's diagnostic port. 4. Join the remote session at the scheduled time; the technician will guide you through the ECU read process. 5. The technician will modify and flash the updated calibration file to your ECU. 6. Post-flash verification will be performed to confirm successful DPF/EGR deletion and fault code clearance. 7. A copy of the modified tune file will be provided for your records.
Akzo Diesel warrants this remote programming service against tuning defects and ECU communication errors for a period of 30 days from the date of service. If fault codes related to the DPF/EGR deletion reappear due to a programming error, a complimentary re-flash session will be provided at no charge. This warranty does not cover damage caused by user error, incompatible hardware, pre-existing ECU faults, or use outside the specified vehicle application range. All warranty claims must be submitted in writing to Akzo Diesel support within the warranty period.
